Archery is a sport in which arrows are shot at a target using a bow. Although the bow and arrow used to be used as a hunting and war weapon, today archery is mainly a concentration sport. With each shoot you need maximum breath from your concentration, shooting stance, breathing and technique.
BRESS members can practice archery at HBSV Alliance d’Amitié (literally: “Confederation of Friendship”). The association was founded in June 1851 by a baron and is now located at the sports park Jeugdland in Ulvenhout. The association has an indoor track with 16 goals with the fixed distances of 18 and 25 meters. In addition, from April to September you can shoot outside on the outside field with distances of up to 90 meters.
