Jiu Jitsu means “soft art” in Japanese. This martial art is not about neutralizing force with force but rather about rationally absorbing the attack and converting that energy to the opponent’s disadvantage. It is designed to defend yourself against violence.
Besides the overall physical improvement you will notice, by practising Jiu Jitsu you will also experience an increase in self-confidence, improved concentration and a more flexible body.
BRESS members can practise Jiu Jitsu at Leonis Ju Jitsu Club under the guidance of Hara and Natasha. Hara has a black belt 2nd degree in Karate, black belt 3rd degree in Ju Jitsu and blue belt in Brazilian Ju Jitsu.
