Spinning is a high-intensity group class where you improve your fitness at a high pace in a fun way. You do this on a stationary bike, with extra resistance. How much resistance? It is entirely up to you! This makes this class suitable for everyone. The instructor gives instructions while the music supports the pace.
On our spinning bikes, you can wear regular trainers or bike/mountain bike shoes. If you plan to buy bike/mountain bike shoes, make sure they have an SPD cleat. Cycling shorts with padding are also not necessary (but are secretly more comfortable).
